Description
An unidentified man standing on the beach next to the enemy mine which exploded on 14 July 1941 resulting in the deaths of two ratings of a RMS (Rendering Mines Safe) party from the Port Adelaide depot.
The two ratings killed were20548 AB William Leonard Edward Danswan and PA439 AB Thomas William Todd. [See images P00805.002 and P00805.003.]
