Studio portrait of 393 Private (Pte) Bryan Higgins, 25th Battalion, of Cooran, Qld. Pte Higgins was posted as missing in action in July 1917, and, following a court of inquiry on 25 July 1917, it was determined he was killed in action on 29 July 1916 at Pozieres, France. He is memorialised at Villers-Bretonneux, France for those killed in action in France and with no known grave.
