Description
An improvised tin notice (with the location spelt incorrectly) identifies the Advanced Dressing Station established to cater for casualties from the 57/60th Infantry Battalion during their attack against the Japanese at Orgoruna 1. The Salvation Army coffee post is in the hut behind the flag. This site was established as a Regimental Aid Post (RAP) by the 57/60th Infantry Battalion and then occupied by the 15th Field Ambulance as an Advanced Dressing Station. It reverted to a RAP when the Battalion withdrew.
