Description
Despite a bandage shown here and there, these men of the 24th Infantry Brigade were in good spirits as they disembarked after their voyage from Tobruk. Identified, centre front, is QX474 Lionel Douglas Poacher of Wilston, Qld whose name is written on his bag near his left foot. All others are unidentified but likely from the 2/25th Battalion, 2/28th Battalion or 2/43rd Battalion, all units of the 24th Brigade.
