Captain S. Baldwin, Naval Officer in Charge, HMAS Melville, Headquarters Royal Australian Navy, inspecting a squad of Melville Island men. Identified left to right: Harry One; Holder Adams; Ali Miller (Mungatopi); Francis Butcher (Tippaklippa); Victor Adams; Charlie One (Tippaklippa); Melon; Brownie Araku; Man Fong; Charlie Two; Ginger Two (on end of row, mostly obscured); Captain Baldwin; Ginger One. Holder Adams was one of two men from Melville Island sent to Timor aboard an Allied submarine as part of Allied Intelligence Bureau patrols.
