Description

Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. 25 April 1915. One of the hills stormed and captured by the Australians in the landing at Anzac. Dugouts and bivouacs are set in the slope of the hill with rows of horses in between. The entrance to the high dugouts are sandbagged.
