Lance Bombardier R H Q Trewin, 2/7th Field Regiment, (right) who suffered third degree burns when the petrol in his truck burst into flames, receiving treatment in the surgical ward of the main dressing station, 2/11th Field Ambulance situated at the corner of Anzac and Collins Highway, and part of the former bomb damaged native hospital.
