Description
Graves of 404353 Flying Officer William Martin Murphy and 407192 Flight Lieutenant Thomas Harrison Bourke, both of 460 Squadron, RAAF, in the cemetery at Viroflay, between Paris and Versailles. Both airmen were killed along with two other crew (407285 Flight Sergeant [Flt Sgt] R P Davis [Wireless Operator Air Gunner] and 407280 Flt Sgt B G P Balleine [Front Gunner]) while on a mission in a Wellington aircraft to bomb Gennevilliers, France on 29/30 May, 1942. The crosses are the original grave markers. (Donor: M. Edwards)
