Studio portrait of 773 Private Beresford Arbuckle, 12th Battalion from Leederville, Western Australia. A 22 year old boiler attendant prior to enlisting on 14 September 1914, he embarked for overseas with G Company from Fremantle on 2 November 1914 aboard HMAT Medic. He died of wounds at Gallipoli on 12 June 1915 and is buried in Shrapnel Valley Cemetery, Gallipoli.
