Studio portrait of 6733 Private (Pte) Charles Dadswell, 5th Battalion, of Horsham, Vic. A contractor prior to enlistment, Pte Dadswell embarked with the 22nd Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Ulysses on 25th October 1916. He was killed in action on 22nd April 1917 at Lagancourt, France and is buried in the Morchies Military Cemetery.
