Studio portrait of 1295 Sergeant (Sgt) George Olaf Dunner 14th Field Artillery Brigade. A printer from Warrnambool, Vic prior to enlistment, Sgt Dunner embarked from Melbourne with the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade on HMAT Shropshire on 20 October 1914. He later transferred to the 14th Field Artillery Brigade and on 23 January 1917 he died of wounds received in action, aged 23, and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
