Description
A local man and his son watch Private (Pte) G. Wheeler and Pte K. Wilson, Members of Headquarters Supply Depot Company. The two men are fastening a parachute on top of a "Storpedo" after Australian Comforts Fund goods are placed inside. The parachute top is attached to a cord secured inside the plane. When the "storpedo" is thrown out, the cord pulls the parachute out and then breaks off.
