Antelat, Libya. 17 January 1942. 406121 Sergeant, later Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Gordon Horace White, the youngest pilot (age 20) at the time in 3 Squadron RAAF. Flt Lt White was later lost on operations over the Netherland East Indies on 8 August 1944.
