Studio portrait of 320 Corporal (Cpl) Hugh Robert Fegan, 14th Battalion. A labourer from Bendigo, Vic prior to enlistment, Cpl Fegan embarked with C Company from Melbourne on HMAT Ulysses on 22 December 1914. On 28 August 1915 he died on board HS Maheno from wounds received in action at Gallipoli and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Anzac.
