c. 1915. Studio portrait of Francis Johnstone. As 2687 Private Francis Johnstone he served with the 51st Battalion AIF and died of wounds on 17 September 1916, aged 39, whilst a Prisoner of War (POW) of the Germans. He is buried in the Caudry Old Communal Cemetery, France.
