Description

Studio portrait of 1935 Signaller (Sig) John Rawling Kerby, 2nd Reinforcements, 34th Battalion, 9th Infantry Brigade, of Footscray, Vic. He enlisted on 27 March 1916 and embarked on HMAT Hororata from Sydney on 2 May 1916. Sig Kerby was killed in action in Belgium on 13 October 1917.
