Studio portrait of 2179 Private Arthur McCann Millar, 22nd Battalion of Camberwell, Vic, who died of wounds on 13 June 1916. His brother 571 Private Edmund Alexander Millar served with the 1st Anzac Cyclists Battalion and was accidentally suffocated on 4 January 1917.
