Ramale Mission, Kokopo Area, New Britain. A group of Roman Catholic missionary priests comprising American, Irish, German, Dutch, Austrian, Belgian, French and Czechoslovakian, part of a group of 300 internees at Ramale Mission. the internees were liberated when troops of HQ 11 Division occupied the area following the surrender of the Japanese.
