Studio portrait of 178 Sapper Albert Edward Renshaw, 2nd Field Company Engineers from Brunswick, Victoria. A 27 year old boilermaker prior to enlistment on 20 August 1914, he embarked for overseas on 21 October 1914 from Melbourne aboard HMAT Orvieto. He died of wounds on 26 April 1915 and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli.
