Description
Three soldiers of the famous Chinese 88 Division which fought a renowned stand in Shanghai for the French concession. They were brought from Singapore by the Japanese to work as labourers in New Britain during the Japanese occupation. Now liberated, they stand outside the internment camp to welcome Australian forces who entered the area after the Japanese surrender.
