Studio portrait of 288 Private Lennox Banebridge Terry, 38th Battalion from Bonnie Doon, Victoria. A 29 year old miner prior to enlistment on 16 October 1916, he embarked for overseas with the 6th Reinforcements from Melbourne on 16 December 1916 aboard HMAT Medic. He was killed in action on 13 October 1917 at Passchendaele, Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
