Group portrait of Commander (Cdr) James Cairns Morrow, DSO, DSC, RAN (in the back row, fourth from the left) and members of his staff. Cdr Morrow, from Melbourne, Victoria, joined the RAN on 1 January 1919 as a 14 year old cadet and rose to the rank of Commodore before leaving the Navy on 5 February 1960.
