Description
A jeep train carrying the gear of personnel of the 9th Infantry Battalion who are being withdrawn from Mosigetta to Motupena Point for a fortnight's rest, negotiating a section of the road which has been flooded by the overflowing Hupai River. A jeep train towed by artillery tractor is the only means of supply. The tractor driver has been identified as VX72801 Gunner Charles Frederick Malley.
