Students at No. 5 Army Women’s Services NCOs school on the school parade ground. An interesting feature of the school is that it was formerly the home, Baragoola, of Mrs Pirie Bush and was loaned to the Army for the duration of the war. Mrs Bush owned a “string of horses” that were housed in the stables at the background. The parade ground is a quadrangle formed by the stables now in use as student living quarters.
