NX160250 (N185331) Private (Pte) Stanley Herbert Brown (foreground), and NX162028 Pte Thomas Oswald Watson, (behind), members of C Company, 2/4 Infantry Battalion, boarding the USS Mexico during embarkation for New Guinea. Brown was later killed in action in New Guinea on 6 May 1945.
