25661 Warrant Officer (later Flight Sergeant [Flt Sgt]) John William Hamilton, No. 8 Squadron RAAF, drinks a mug of tea following his return from a patrol with members of a company, 2/4 Infantry Battalion. Flt Sgt Hamilton was killed in operations over the United Kingdom on 15 April, 1945 while serving with 1667 Conversion Royal Air Force Aircrew Training School.
