Eleven members of 9 Pigeon Section at their lofts at Malmal mission. Operating under the command of Lieutenant (Lt) K V Benwell, (1), 15 men and 150 birds are now being trained for future operations with patrols. Most personnel were pre-war pigeon fanciers.
