Description
A German LVG CV 2 seater reconnaissance aircraft brought down by Australian Flying Corps Officers Brown and Finlay. Standing in front of the aircraft from left to right are Captain A R Brown, DFC, Major S W Addison and Lieutenant G Finlay. The aircraft was brought back to Australia post war but was one of a number of aircraft accidentally destroyed by fire at the Australian War Museum in Melbourne in the 1920s (See also B02265).
