History / Summary

John Chesterton Pilcher and Timothy (Tim) Charles Pilcher are twin brothers who both served during the Vietnam war. Both brothers served in 1st Australian Reinforcement Unit (1ARU) in 1970 and then transferred to 8 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR) in the same year. Dr Jane Ross interviews the Pilcher brothers about their experience for her project "An oral history of Australians in Vietnam".
