Description
3 boxes of papers relating to Springthorpe's war time military career in the Australian Army Medical Service at No 2 & No 3 Australian General Hospital (AGH) included is a typed diary, correspondence mostly concerning the 1915 inquiries into No 1 AGH and the operations of the Red Cross in Egypt and Springthorpe's work on war neuroses, post war repatriation and pensions. There are also records relating to Springthorpe's assistance to AG Butler the Official Medical Historian.
