Cooper, Gordon Colin (Lance Corporal)
Description
Collection relating to 475 Private Gordon Colin Cooper, 1 Australian Light Horse Regiment, Egypt and Palestine, 1916-1918. Typescript copies of diaries contain brief entries covering Cooper's time with the Regiment providing details of his daily routines as well as the preparation for and recovery from desert actions, including the Battle of Romani, in which he participated. Original diaries exist at 1DRL/0011.
