Techow, Otto (Private, b.1878 - d.1925)
Description
Collection relating to the service of Private Otto Techow of the 6th Western Australian Mounted Infantry Contingent. Collection consists of a card for active service, carried by soldiers for identification in case of death and a diary from his time of embarkation (10 April 1901). The diary has periods of regular entries with description of engagements with the Boers. Techow has also recorded his rations, orders and addresses. Also includes plant material found in pocket of the leather diary holder.
