Collection relating to the Boer War service of Sergeant Robert West (Bruce) Hodgson, 2 Scottish Horse, [date unknown].
Wallet 1 of 1 - Wallet consists of the photocopy of a memoir written by Sergeant Robert West (Bruce) Hodgson. The memoir is probably based on Hodgson's personal diary, and covers in detail his service in South Africa for the period February-September 1901, when Hodgson was in the E Squadron of 2 Scottish Horse. The memoir contains some marginal annotations that were probably added by a family member.
