Collection relating to the Second World War service of V5504 Warrant Officer Class 2 George William Mowat MM, 39th Australian Infantry Battalion, New Guinea, 1942.
The collection consists of a diary kept by Mowat, containing brief daily entries which describe the conditions and the fighting which occured on the Kokoda Trail. The collection additionally contains a biographical note on Mowat.
