Description
Memoirs of prisoner of war experience following capture in North Africa during the 'Benghazi Handicap', transport to Italy and eventually work camps in Poland. Private McCauley escaped while on a forced march in Czechoslovakia and was eventually liberated by United States forces in Austria.
