Coulter, Arthur Hugh (Lance Corporal, 4th Fld Amb AIF b: c. 1888)
Description
Collection relating to the service of Lance Corporal Arthur Hugh Coulter of the 4th Field Ambulance AIF. The collection consists of two letters sent to Coulter from a Belgian acquaintance in Egypt and a dictionary and diary detailing his war service. Coulter treated the Gallipoli wounded in Egypt, worked aboard a hospital ship and afterwards served on the Gallipoli Peninsula. He was later hospitalized on Imbros and subsequently treated in various Australian hospitals in Egypt, including Luna Park.
