Description
Collection relating to General Sir John Gordon Noel Wilton who served with the British Army in India, the 2/4th Australian Field Regiment during the Second World War in which he was awarded the Distinguished Service Order, and the 28th British Commonwealth Infantry Brigade in Korea. Includes papers connected with his appointment to the Australian Military Mission at Washington in 1945, as well his involvement with the Aboriginal Treaty Committee after his retirement from the army in November 1970 and diary covering 1910 - 1947.
