Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Private Oliver James Cumberland and Private Joseph Hilton Cumberland (brothers) who served with 2 Battalion on Gallipoli. The collection consists of original postcards and letters written by the brothers to their sister describing general aspects of army life and training and covering the death of Joe during the Gallipoli landing and Oliver at Lone Pine.
