Description
An annotated and autographed copy of 'Athletics and Training' by G Butler. The book was signed by Australian and New Zealand prisoners of war at Camp 57 near Undine, Italy and at Stalag VIIIA Gorlitz, Poland. As well as signatures, pages of the book were used for art work by Neville Lodge. The owner of the book, Gunner James L Brill served with the 2/3rd Anti-Tank Regiment and was captured in April 1941 after a rear guard action at Fort Mekili in Libya.
