Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Sister Madeline Alice Kendall Wilson (later Lawless-Pyne), Australian Army Nursing Service, Gallipoli, Middle East, 1914-1918.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of handwritten biographical notes, made by [ex-QX11588 Private] John "Jack" Arden in 1982, on the life and service of Sister Madeline Wilson. The notes were compiled by Arden based on information provided by Wilson (then Mrs Lawless-Pyne) and drawn from her service dossier created by Australian Army base records. The notes include extracts from Wilson's 1915 diary, and include Wilson's description of action and service on hospital ships off Gallipoli.
