Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Sergeant Major Alexander Macleod, 27th Battalion, AIF. The collection consists of a short letter, including a coded message, which was sent to his wife from Gallipoli. Sergeant Major Macleod's instructions were that the message was to be decoded only in the event of his death.
