Collection relating to service of Acting Commander Thomas Wyburn Biddlecombe, Royal Navy. Collection includes copies of condolence letters relating to the death of Biddlecombe when in command of Q27 which was sunk by a German submarine, 13 March 1917. Copies made by Australian War Memorial 1927. Location of originals unknown.

Son of William and Amelia Biddlecombe, of Swallowfield, Reading, England; husband of Gertrude Mary Biddlecombe, of 50 Leopold St., South Yarra, Victoria, Australia
