Description
Collection relating to service of Lieutenant Alan Dudley Henderson, 7 Battalion AIF, Gallipoli. Collection consists of a short extract from a letter written on board ship, on the eve of the Gallipoli landing.

Biographical note: Accountant; of Hawthorn, Victoria; born Hawthorn, 8 July 1894; educated at Trinity Gramar School, Kew, Victoria; served in the junior and senior cadets of the CMF, (was a Lieutenant in the 48th Regiment); age at time of death, 21. Buried at sea.
