Biographical note: 2nd Lieutenant Donald Goldsmith Armstrong. 21 Battalion. Australian Infantry. Killed in action, Broodseinde, Belgium, 9 October 1917. Age 24. Son of Henry James Goldsmith Armstrong and Emma Isabel Armstrong, of Wyrlong, Ranfurlie Crescent, East Malvern, Victoria, Australia. Native of Kyneton, Victoria.
