Collection relating to the service of 2nd Lieutenant James K McLeod, 13 Battalion, AIF, Gallipoli, 1915. Collection consists of a typescript copy (and two carbon copies) of a letter written by McLeod to his parents in May 1915, from Gallipoli. Location of original unknown.

Biographical note: 2nd Lieutenant James K McLeod, 13 Battalion, AIF. Killed in action 10 August 1915 at Gallipoli, aged 27. Son of Murdo and Mary McLeod, of 1 Henry St., Merewether, NSW.
