Placard held by Private Cooper, at Tampie prisoner of war camp as a form of punishment order by 'The Tiger', Guard Commander Warrant Officer Hiramatsu. The placard reads, 'This man was found at the Thai canteen drinking coffee instead of fetching firewood and now being punished for it'. Explanatory note titled 'I am a thief' accompanies the material.
