Day, Antony F (Tony) (Cm, Cd, RAFVR, RAF, Rafo, Rcaf(R) b: 1924)
Collection mainly consists of a typescript written by Antony Day. The typescript titled 'The Air War over the Arakan 1942-1945: an Arakan Aerial Anthology by 'those who served there' is a detailed narrative which includes photographs, illustrations, maps, appendixes, bibliography and indexes, including participating allied air force units and individuals.
Also included are two short typescripts by Walter 'Wal' McLellan DFC. The first consists of recollections of his service are RAAF pilot in the Middle East and with 45 Squadron, 113 squadron and 224 Gr. Comm. Squadron in the Far East. The second consists of a narrative titled 'Tigers and Sentinels' describing his involvement with 224 Gr. Comm. Squadron in casualty evacuation from Arakan in late 1944.
