Description
Collection relating to the service of Corporal (later Captain) Reginald Arthur Titford, MC, MM, 2 Field Company Engineers, AIF. Collection consists of two photostat copies of extracts from a diary kept by Corporal Titford during his time on Gallipoli in 1915. This collection is notable for its first-hand account of efforts made to rescue a member of 2 Field Company trapped in a tunnel after an explosion. Copies made by Australian War Memorial. Location of original diary unknown.
