National Liberation Front Medal : Viet Cong
Description
National Liberation Front pentagonal medal painted silver. The medal is overlaid with a gold disc showing cogged wheel below the flag of North Vietnam in red and blue enamel. This is surrounded by two ears of wheat. A banner with the words 'GIAI PHONG' runs through the wheel. The medal is suspended from a bar threaded with a white ribbon with a broad red band in the centre. Two silver stars are attached to the ribbon.
