An unidentified Australian soldier watches a tug of war contest between a Caterpillar D8H armoured bulldozer (left) of 17 Construction Squadron (foreground), and a Centurion Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) of C Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment (background) at 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base. The bulldozer has the Army Registration Number (ARN) 98 394. The scrub pulling chain is from an old ship's anchor. Several heats were undertaken however no outright winner was announced.
